Who are we?
LocalGiftVouchers.co.uk (LGV) is a trading name of Appropo Limited, a small, independent software company.

Incredibly, over 90% of all gift voucher sales are shared between the large, online retailers, the supermarkets and high street chains.  Our web-based software aims to help smaller, independent businesses gain a share of this lucrative marketplace worth in excess of £3.2 billion every year in the UK alone.

Our software also gives consumers more choice and a chance to support local business.

What do we do?
We facilitate the online and offline sale of monetary gift vouchers on behalf of small, independent and local businesses across the UK. These businesses are known as our Gift Partners.

Gift vouchers are sold in three ways:
1. via a link from the Gift Partner's website
2. directly from LocalGiftVouchers.co.uk
3. in-person to customers from the Gift Partners' premises.

All gift vouchers are beautifully presented and co-branded with our details and the branding of each individual Gift Partner.

Buying with Confidence
When a gift voucher for one of our Gift Partners is bought online, the buyer knows that should the Gift Partner cease to trade (for whatever reason), the gift voucher can be transferred to another gift partner, (subject to a small transaction fee to cover our costs).

Refund or Charity Donation
Should an unspent gift voucher expire, the original buyer will be contacted and offered a refund or the option of donating the amount to a charity of their choice. (Less a small transaction fee to cover our costs).
